Chiropractic Care for the 3 Different Body Types

 

In physiology, we all have our own unique body type known as asomatotype which is a an important adjustive chiropractic tool. The three mainbody types are the endomorph, the mesomorph and the ectomorph. They battle to lose weight and build muscle, especially without regularexercise.

 

Fitness goals are fat-burning exercises alternating between highintensity cardio and weightlifting and jogging in intervals of two minutes fastand one minute slow.  The endomorph diet should include drinking plenty of water and eatinglarge portions of vegetables and whole grains, low carbohydrate intake and leansources of protein. Portions should be controlled and five to six smallmeals a day are suggested. Metabolism boosters such as caffeine and performanceboosters like BCAAs will maintain high intensity workouts.

 

The Mesomorph

 

 Metamorphs have compact muscularbodies due to goodgenes in physique. The main characteristics of metamorphs are wideclavicles, a narrow waist, thin joints and a proportional physique. Theyare said to have the ideal body type and are naturally good athletes.

 

Fitness tips include a variety of resistance training, low tomoderate weightlifting and more frequent cardio for not more than 2 hours at atime. Metamorphs should have a balanced diet withequal portions of carbohydrates, protein and fats.  Processed foods should be avoided and calorie counting is advised to avoidmuscle turning to fat.

 

The Ectomorph

 

Ectomorphs are described as delicately built and low on fat andmuscle tissue. They have high metabolisms and battle to build muscle no matterhow hard they exercise. The characteristics of ectomorphs are narrow hipsand clavicles, small joints, long limbs and a thin physique.

 

As ectomorphs lack muscle, cardio should be kept to a minimumand weightlifting chosen for fitness training. Overtraining shouldbe avoided with plenty of rest days in between to avoid putting muscles undertoo much stress. Dieting tips include increasing calorie intake withhealthy fats and protein. If weight gain is required, eating every two hours issuggested and high calorie weight gain shakes used in between meals. Plenty of protein powder and workout supplements should be added tothe diet when exercising.

 

Most people fit into one of these three body types, butespecially when it comes to women, some bodies may be a combination.
